Welcome

Totnes Caring is celebrating 26 years of serving the community.

We are a registered charity offering much needed help and assistance to the elderly, disabled and vulnerable in the community.In particular the support is for the relief of the elderly and sick to enable them to live in their own homes to help them remain independent and not be isolated from the community

These services are provided in the area covered by Leatside and Catherine House Surgeries and to the people who live in Totnes and its surrounding villages.

Our office is open from 9.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. Monday to Friday and an answerphone is available to take messages at other times. Our contact page has full details of how to contact us easily.

We originally set up in 1987 by doctors of the town to provide extra help and support for their patients. Since then the Charity has expanded and now offers a range of services including transport, shopping, befriending, form filling, luncheon clubs and more. We currently have over 200 volunteers who support around 1400 clients
