Our Trustees

Totnes Caring is a registered charity and is governed by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for making policy decisions, the staffing and funding of the organisation. All trustees give their time voluntarily and receive no benefits from the charity.

Emma Foreman

Chair

Emma joined Totnes Caring as Chair of the Board of Trustees in September 2025 following a long career as an Investment Banker in the City of London where she worked for some of the largest global investment banks.  Her main function was as a derivatives risk manager.  Following the Financial Crisis of 2008, Emma worked on several projects to implement rule changes that came about as a result of the implementation of changes in global regulation for international finance companies.  She worked both internally for her employers as well as externally via several inter-bank groups and committees to facilitate change from a risk perspective.  Emma has an interest in the activities that Totnes Caring undertakes following her experiences with both her parents – particularly care for Alzheimer’s patients and the elderly.
